Born in Bristol, UK, Nick worked for some years in a photographic film & imaging research laboratory, where his interest in photography was first aroused. He moved 25+ years ago to Austin, Texas, where he still resides today.

While photography was always an interest, it was not until his recent retirement that Nick has been able to focus on developing his passion for image-making.

In terms of subjects, West Texas and New Mexico remain fascinating and wonderfully rich in opportunities. The broader US West, the UK and indeed other parts the world are areas for future focus, as is a developing interest in historical printing techniques and chemistries.

Nick currently photographs almost exclusively with film.
